THE HONEYMOON TRIP

After my mother passed away I decided to go on a trip.

A very emotional and nostalgic trip.

The same trip as my parents travelled on their honeymoon 32 years ago.

I thought it could be a great challenge to find the exact spots where they were.

So I  began to go through all the photos my dad took during their trip, photos from L.A, Tahiti, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Australia.

Then I set out to find the places in the photos.

One of my favorite photos was of a special tree in the Cook Islands which I was hoping to find.

And I found it.

During the trip I took photos and documented the places that I managed to find.

After returning from my journey I started to paint.
